Product-preview notice. These terms are a structured product-preview draft. Company identity, driver relationship, insurance, charges, dispute terms and jurisdiction require confirmation and legal review before live services open.
Acceptance and operator
These terms describe the intended rules for using the HireDriverJi website, upcoming applications and mobility services. By using the live service once launched, you will agree to the version presented at account creation or booking.
The final operating legal entity, registered address and applicable licences will be inserted before live services open. Browsing this preview website does not create a customer booking or driver-partner relationship.
Eligibility and accounts
- Customer account holders should be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement.
- You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login and one-time passwords secure.
- Driver partners will be subject to separate eligibility, document, onboarding and partner terms.
- Business users must have authority to act for the organisation or booking account they use.
Vehicle-and-driver and driver-only services
Most planned HireDriverJi offerings include a vehicle with a professional driver. Some offerings may be clearly labelled as driver-only and require a suitable vehicle to be provided by the customer. The service card and booking summary will identify which model applies before confirmation.
The final terms will clearly state whether drivers are employees, contractors, partners or matched service providers and the legal role of HireDriverJi for each service type. That operating model must be confirmed before launch.
Bookings and availability
- A request is not confirmed until the app displays confirmation and any required payment or verification step is complete.
- Availability may vary by location, service, vehicle category, schedule and driver supply.
- You must provide accurate pickup, destination, timing, passenger, luggage and trip information, plus vehicle details when selecting a driver-only service.
- Changes may affect availability, assigned vehicle or driver, duration and charges and should be reviewed before reconfirmation.
Vehicle and trip responsibilities
- For a vehicle-and-driver booking, the service listing will identify the planned vehicle category and included operating costs; you should check the assigned vehicle and driver details before departure.
- For a driver-only booking, you must have lawful authority to use the customer-provided vehicle and ensure it is registered, insured, roadworthy, appropriately fuelled or charged and carries all legally required documents and equipment.
- You must disclose relevant accessibility, passenger, luggage or trip requirements and, for driver-only bookings, the vehicle's transmission type, operating issues and instructions before the trip.
- Responsibility for fuel, charging, tolls, parking, permits, state taxes and other trip costs will follow the service listing and booking summary for the selected booking type.
Fares, extras and payment
The booking summary should show the applicable package or service charge and explain known extras before confirmation. Depending on the service, extras may include waiting, overtime, tolls, parking, state taxes, driver allowance, night charges or accommodation.
Final supported payment methods, taxes, invoicing, authorisation and failed-payment rules will be published when the payment integration is complete.
Safe and respectful conduct
- Do not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or dangerous activity.
- Do not instruct a driver to speed, violate road rules, drive an unsafe vehicle or operate under unsafe conditions.
- Treat drivers, customers and support staff with respect and do not discriminate, threaten, harass or engage in violence.
- Drivers may stop or decline unsafe or materially different work in accordance with final partner and safety procedures.
Cancellations, no-shows and refunds
Cancellation and refund treatment may depend on timing, driver assignment or arrival, service type and the reason for cancellation. The applicable outcome should be displayed before a customer completes cancellation where practicable.
The separate Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms once approved for launch.
Safety and emergencies
Product features and screening reduce friction and provide useful context but cannot remove every risk. HireDriverJi support is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger in India, call 112 and contact relevant authorities before platform support.
Accidents, damage and insurance
If an accident, damage or incident occurs, prioritise safety, contact emergency services where needed, follow lawful reporting and insurance steps and notify HireDriverJi with accurate information.
Responsibility for loss, damage, deductibles, claims support and insurance interaction depends on law, the policy covering the vehicle used, the selected booking model and the facts. For driver-only services, the customer-provided vehicle's insurance may be relevant; for vehicle-and-driver services, the provider's vehicle arrangements may apply. The final terms will set out this process after insurance and legal review; this preview does not promise coverage.
Intellectual property and third parties
HireDriverJi names, designs, software, content and product materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the service only for its intended personal or authorised business purpose and may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape or misuse it except where law permits.
Maps, payment, app stores and other third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices.
Availability and disclaimers
The preview website is provided to demonstrate a planned product. Features, coverage, prices and timelines may change before launch. Once live, reasonable efforts will be made to provide the service, but uninterrupted availability, a driver match or a particular arrival time cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed.
Liability and consumer rights
The final limitation language will be reviewed for each booking model, insurance and applicable Indian consumer law. Nothing in the final terms should exclude rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Users are responsible for losses caused by their unlawful conduct, inaccurate information or breach of the responsibilities assigned to them in the selected booking to the extent permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
Accounts or access may be limited or suspended for safety concerns, fraud, non-payment, unlawful conduct, material breach or legal requirements. Where appropriate, the user should be told the reason and available review path unless notice would create risk or violate law.
Complaints, governing law and disputes
Users should first raise a complaint through support or the Grievance Officer so that the issue can be reviewed with relevant booking records. The final governing law, court or arbitration terms and registered jurisdiction will be added after entity and counsel confirmation.
Changes and contact
Terms may change with the product, law or operating model. Material updates should be communicated in advance where required. Questions during the product-preview stage can be sent to support@hiredriverji.com.
